Spirit Of The Charizard- Prologue

The Charizard's head snapped to attention, it's massive frame, which towered over remaining boulders, standing directly in front of a large circle of rocks. Inside lay soft, beautiful hay, which was gently disturbed by something twitching. Another Charizard appeared in the distance, it's frame slightly faded by mist, until it finally approached. It landed on the hard, rocky ground, causing the area to shake just a little.

    "So, it's finally happening?" The one that had just arrived asked in a gruff, yet somewhat scared voice. Obviously a male one.
The female replied, "Yes. He's been twitching since dawn,". The male watched the tiny figure rustling in the hay: a white egg with splotches of green. "Do you think he's quite alright?" He asked, swishing his tail, which was tipped with a spectacular, glowing flame, like the female's, and shadows danced among the walls.
The female nodded. "He's fine. It usually takes a while for them to emerge,".
The male opened his jaws to say something, then a loud CRACK! interrupted him. The male Charizard fixed his gaze on the egg, and it started rapidly moving back and forth. Finally, another loud noise echoed in the cave, and eggshell went flying. A tiny, baby creature, like a smaller version of it's parents, but without wings, lay in the nest, curled up, eyes closed.
The female smiled. "We have a son. He's... so beautiful,".
The male nodded. "Yes, Akira; he was meant to be beautiful,".
Akira smiled. "Slash, I have a name idea. How about.. Faded?".
Slash paused, then nodded, wrapping his tail around the small creature. Slash, who was massive compared to his son, finally replied. 

"Faded is a perfect name,".
